We’re known for our love of DOXA Subs.
In any flavor, any color, from the classic, orange-dialed Professional to the stunning silver-dialed Searambler, we love 'em all. In fact, the original inspiration behind Analog:Shift was squarely centered on DOXA!
While not nearly as well-known as the Blancpain Fifty-Fathoms or the Rolex Submariner, the DOXA Sub series played an integral role in the development of the modern diver's watch.
The first generation of the model, introduced in 1967, brought innovations we now take for granted: the unidirectional bezel with the US Navy's no-decompression dive timing marks engraved, the expanding bracelet, and an oversized, luminous minute hand. After its introduction, DOXA rapidly became a household name for professional and amateur divers in the late 1960s and 1970s, and the Sub 300 evolved into an even more capable and reliable instrument.
This particular Sub 300 is no ordinary, run-of-the-mill execution, however — it’s a special pearl-dial ‘Whitepearl’ model housed in a forged carbon case. Preserving the classic 42.5mm diameter of the original Subs, it features a box-shaped sapphire crystal, a signed crown, a unidirectional dive bezel with no-deco scale, a luminous dial with a matching handset, and a off-white dive strap with a black PVD signed deployant clasp complete with a ratcheting dive suit extension.
Powered by a COSC-certified automatic movement with a 38-hour power reserve, this piece loses nothing against its stainless steel siblings and comes with all its factory goodies!
This Sub 300 is easily one of the coolest dive watches to hit the market in the past few years. Try it on for size!
